Opening in our historic Town Hall, this is your chance to explore an inspiring collection of premium international stationery brands, along with handpicked local makers, all under one roof.
The New Zealand Stationery Festival will be intentionally intimate to fit within our wee town; a small but perfectly formed gathering focused on beautiful paper goods, pens, inks, journaling and creative tools, and the wonderful people who enjoy them.
Just an hour from Wellington, Greytown’s charm makes it the perfect setting for a day with your fellow ink lovers, journalers and stationery enthusiasts.

Whether you're brand new to the stationery community or you show up with ink stains on your fingers, this is a great opportunity to experience a whole lot in one place.
Workshops
Throughout the day, join creative workshops designed to spark ideas, improve your skills and deepen your love of stationery and creative journaling. Our workshop schedule will be announced on 10 November, 2025.
Tickets
We're expecting a crowd! Our venue has a maximum capacity of 135 people at any one time so entry will be controlled by our Stationery Bouncers! Priority access will be given to Early Bird ticket holders, followed by General Admission ticket holders, and door sales as capacity allows.
Here's how it works on the day

Between 10am - 2pm:
10am - 11am: Access for pre-purchased ticket holders only. Ticket holder get the first chance to purchase products and take advantage of show special offers. Pre-purchased ticket holders also receive a collectable NZ Stationery Festival AS Colour tote bag.
After 11am we'll allow door sales, as the venue capacity allows. -
From 2pm - 4pm:
Festival opens for free public access (no entry fee, no totes). Entry will still be limited to a maximum of 135 at one time.
