NZ STATIONERY FESTIVAL: Your Journalling Practice, Your Way with Mira Bradshaw
Saturday, January 9th, 2027
10am - 11am
Your Journalling Practice, Your Way
There is no such thing as a perfect way to journal - the habit that works beautifully for someone else may be completely wrong for you.
In this one-hour workshop, Mira Bradshaw will help you tailor a journalling practice to your own life.
You will explore different kinds of journalling and what they are useful for, how to choose a format and rhythm that fits your actual life and time, and practical ways to make the habit sustainable when life gets busy.
Using custom stickers designed for the workshop, Mira will cover everything from how to get started, how to keep it sustainable, how to stay creatively engaged over years and even decades, and practical ways to manage it when life gets real and time is short.
Please bring any notebook and pen you enjoy using.
Participants will leave this workshop with:
- Four A6 sheets of custom stickers. Designed and created by Mira. Custom to this workshop only, not available anywhere else.
- A personalised journalling plan
- Practical ideas to try next
- A handout covering ways to make journalling work for you.
No experience required. Everyone is welcome.

This workshop is presented as part of the The New Zealand Stationery Festival.
You do not need to purchase a ticket to the Stationery Festival in order to attend this event, but it is highly recommended that you do. Attendees without a Stationery Festival ticket will not receive a tote bag, and will only have access to Cobblestones 15 minutes before the class begins.
Do not worry if you can't get a time-entry ticket for the Festival that is before your class begins - if you have a class ticket AND a Festival ticket we will honour whichever is the earliest.
About your teacher
Mira Bradshaw has been exploring creative planning, stamping and journalling for more than a decade. A lifelong paper-and-pen enthusiast, she moved through decorative planning, travellers notebooks and bullet journalling before developing a creative daily journalling practice focused on memory-keeping, reflection and making ordinary life worth noticing.
Her own practice continues to evolve across daily, media and commonplace journalling, with photo journalling the next area she is exploring. She brings a practical, low-pressure approach to creative journalling: learn the tools, understand what works for you, and let the practice evolve.
By day, Mira leads data and technology for an FMCG company; outside work she is an enthusiastic collector and user of stamps, fountain pens, inks, washi tape and other paper supplies whether intended for journalling or not.

Our venue is inside Cobblestones Museum. The paths to the classroom are stone-chip but the workshop space is on the ground level.
