We’re delighted to present a special licensed edition of our much-loved Sip & Scribble Cafe.
This cosy, creative afternoon includes all the Sip & Scribble favourites - sweet treats, bottomless tea and coffee, and a room full of fellow journal lovers - plus a few Cocktail Festival-only extras. A short, inspiring lesson: Introduction to Travel Journaling, and a cup (or two) of an internationally inspired harvest punch, infused with Greytown Distilling Company gin.
Whether you’re a seasoned journal keeper or just beginning your journey, this is a gentle, welcoming space to slow down, sip something delicious, and spend time with your pages.

What is a Sip & Scribble Cafe?
When asked to imagine her perfect cafe, Mrs Floss dreamed of a magical place called The Sip & Scribble.
A cafe where you can sit quietly with your journal and your thoughts, surrounded by fellow travellers and creatives. A place to sketch, write with your favourite pen, collate pages of a junk journal, or dream up lists of places to visit and books to read.
It’s a cafe where no one frowns at your spread of art supplies, or suggests you’re taking up too much space.
After a series of sell-out sessions in 2025, Sip & Scribble Cafe returns with more room, a licensed venue, and a travel theme, as part of the Greytown International Cocktail Festival.

- A 30-minute “Introduction to Travel Journalling” workshop with Mrs Blackwell - including a set of prompts and ideas for your future trips, both big and small
- Two relaxed hours in lovely company with like-minded journal enthusiasts
You bring your own journal and favourite supplies - all journaling styles are welcome.
We’ll also have basics on hand, including pens, pencils, glue, tape, scissors, and stickers.
Both Mrs Floss and Mrs Blackwell will be available throughout the afternoon for questions, guidance, and creative encouragement.
