Hire Mrs Blackwell's Village Bookshop for private shopping and small events.

An hour or two of private shopping — plus the books of their choice — makes an incredible gift for the bibliophile in your life.  

We can also accommodate small, book-themed gatherings. 

Your booking fee includes: 
  • Exclusive use of the shop for up to 4 people, additional people are a flat fee of $10 (this covers the cost of extra snacks)
  • A generous platter of sweet and savoury food (all dietary requirements can be accommodated)
  • Non-alcoholic refreshments (you are welcome to bring along your own alcoholic drinks, glassware is provided) 
  • A bunch of fresh cut flowers which you can take home
  • Full control of the shop's music, lighting etc.
