EVENT: How to Build a Daily Journaling Habit

EVENT: How to Build a Daily Journaling Habit

1-2pm, Saturday January 10th, 2026
Part of the
The New Zealand Stationery Festival

Would you like to start a creative journal but don’t know where to begin?

Do you see beautiful examples all over social media but think that couldn’t possibly be you?

Or would you just like to make your existing journaling practice more aesthetic and visually pleasing?

Then this is the class for you!

Over the past decade Mira Bradshaw has built a daily journalling practice that has stuck. Mira has created daily entries every single day since 30 December 2023 (even with a baby in the house!) and she’s coming to NZ Stationery Festival to share her wealth of experience with you.

During this class you will explore:

  • Different types of journalling and which might be right for you
  • Practical tips for how to start small and manageable
  • Ideas for how to evolve your journalling over time and stay creatively fulfilled
  • How to stick with the practice when real life gets in the way!
  • Ideas and hands-on practice on how to use daily items to make your journal personal and more creative

Together, you’ll explore prompts and ideas that allow you to build a daily journalling practice that you’re proud of and is personalised to your unique life.

You’ll receive some special creative supplies and you can take home whatever you don’t use in the class to keep the creativity going!

Supplies provided:

  • 3 Sheets of Custom Stickers, designed by Mira (RRP $15)
  • 1 x washi tape sample card prepared by Mira (RRP $9)
  • Handout with key takeaways from the class, including links to helpful content and extra information

Students, please bring along: Any notebook & pen of your choice.

Pop into The Stationery Festival or Mrs Blackwell’s Village Bookshop before the class and we’ll get you all sorted with these supplies if you don't already have them!
