WRITING YOUR LIFE
with Dan Keane
How do you write down a life? Your memories are eager to be captured, but the blank page can be daunting indeed. Join Dan Keane for a series of warm, insightful workshops that explore various paths into autobiographical writing and offer simple, accessible techniques for bringing your stories to life.
How to Write a Place
Tuesday, February 10

We live our lives in places: our homes, our wanderings, our returns. Using examples from Aotearoa and beyond, Dan Keane will teach you how to write your personal geography - and set the stage for the stories of your life.
What you will learn:
- How to choose details that make a place your own
- How to turn a place into a setting
- The power - and the trap - of writing about home
